GLAZING <br />Section 08800 <br />15-1207 <br />3.05 CURE, PROTECTION AND CLEANING <br />A. Cure glazing sealants and compounds per manufacturer's instructions and <br />recommendations. <br />B. Protect exterior glass from breakage immediately upon installation by attachment of crossed <br />streamers to framing held away from glass. Do not apply markers of any type to surfaces of <br />glass. <br />C. Protect finished surfaces from scratches, abrasions and other damage; marred or damaged <br />work will be rejected. <br />D. Remove and replace glass which is broken, chipped, cracked, abraded, or damaged in other <br />ways during the construction period at no additional cost to the Owner. <br />E. Maintain glass in a reasonably clean condition during construction, so that it will not be <br />damaged by corrosive action and materials which might contribute (by wash -off) to the <br />deterioration of glazing materials and other work. <br />F. Wash and polish glass on both faces not more than 4 days prior to Owner's acceptance of <br />the work in each area.
