WALL COVERINGS <br />Section 09950 <br />15-1207 <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 INCLUSION OF OTHER CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />A. The General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions and Division 1 are fully applicable to this <br />Section, as if repeated herein. <br />1.02 RELATED WORK SPECIFIED ELSEWHERE <br />A. Section 01350, Environmental Requirements. <br />B. Section 09250, Gypsum Wallboard, including: <br />1. Fiberboard Base. <br />2. Vinyl Covered Tackable Panels. <br />C. Section 09900, Painting. <br />1.03 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Use only new materials and products, unless existing materials or products are specifically <br />shown otherwise on the Drawings to be salvaged and re -used. <br />B. Use materials and products of one manufacturer whenever possible. <br />C. All materials, components, assemblies, workmanship and installation are to be observed by <br />the Owner's Inspector of Record. Work not so inspected is subject to uncovering and <br />replacement. <br />D. Applicators Qualifications: Work of this section shall be performed by a firm regularly <br />engaged in the installation of vinyl wall coverings of the types and qualities specified and <br />acceptable to the Architect. Superintendents and journeymen shall be thoroughly <br />experienced in performing the work equal to that required. <br />E. Submittals other than those specified shall match the appearance and color of the specified <br />material, and shall equal or exceed the quality, total weight, fabric backing, tensile and tear <br />strength, UL fire ratings and mildew resistance of the specified product. <br />F. Imperfections such as engraving roller die marks, roller repeat marks, glossy surface <br />appearance or other features deemed not in conformance with the specified materials, will be <br />cause for rejection by the Architect, if evidenced in either the submitted samples or the <br />manufactured material delivered to the job. <br />1.04 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Refer to Section 01300. <br />B. Manufacturer's Data: Submit list and complete descriptive data of all products proposed for <br />use. Include manufacturer's specifications, published warranty or guarantee reports of tests <br />specified, installation instructions, and maintenance instructions. <br />C. Samples: The following samples are required. Submit per Section 01300. <br />
