ROLLER SHADES <br />Section 12494 <br />15-1207 <br />physical properties, and installation instructions. <br />F. Operation and Maintenance Data: Provide complete operation and maintenance data as <br />required under Section 01700, Contract Close -Out. <br />G. Certification: Provide certification of required flame resistance as specified. <br />H. Submit executed Guarantee of Contractor/Subcontractor per Article 1.05. <br />1.05 GUARANTEE <br />A. Guarantee - Refer to General Conditions and Section 01300. <br />1. Roller Shade Hardware, Chain and Shadecloth: Manufacturer's standard non - <br />depreciating twenty-five year limited warranty, with provisions that shadecloth will not <br />deteriorate, sag or warp and will not be unfit for the use intended for the warranty <br />period. <br />2. Roller Shade Installation: One year from date of Substantial Completion. <br />1.06 REFERENCES AND STANDARDS <br />A. ASTM G 21 - Standard Practice for Determining Resistance of Synthetic Polymeric Materials <br />to Fungi. <br />B. NFPA 701-99 - Fire Tests for Flame -Resistant Textiles and Films. <br />C. NFPA 70 — National Electric Code. <br />1.07 PRODUCT HANDLING <br />A. All work shall be fabricated in ample time so as to not delay construction progress. <br />B. All materials shall be delivered to the site at such time as required for proper coordination of <br />the work. Materials are to be received in the manufacturer's original, unopened packages <br />and shall bear the manufacturer's label and fire -test response characteristics. <br />C. Store all materials in a dry and well ventilated place adequately protected from damage and <br />exposure to the elements. <br />1.08 PROJECT CONDITIONS <br />A. Temperature - Humidity: Ambient temperature between 60 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit and <br />relative humidity between 20 and 50 per cent for a period of 24 hours before installation and <br />until final acceptance by Owner. Install roller shades after finish work, including painting, is <br />complete. <br />PART 2 -PRODUCTS <br />2.01 MATERIALS <br />A. Manufacturer: All materials shall be manufactured by MechoSystems or accepted equal. <br />2 <br />
