Lettering on plate shall be black, with size of lettering to suit equipment. <br />b. Lettering shall be minimum of 3/8 -inch in height. <br />C. Plates shall be riveted or bolted to equipment. <br />2. Equipment to include, but not limited to: <br />a. Heat Pump Units <br />b. Energy Recovery Ventilators <br />C. Exhaust Fans <br />d. Seton <br />4. Craftmark <br />2.08 ELECTRIC MOTORS: <br />A. General: <br />1. The following are basic requirements for simple or common motors. For special <br />motors, more detailed and specific requirements are specified in the individual <br />equipment specifications. <br />B. Electric Motors: <br />1. All electric motors shall comply with requirements of NEMA, UL, ANSI/IEEE 112 and <br />NEC, suitable for intended load, voltage, phase, frequency, service, and location. <br />2. Limit maximum motor speeds to 1750 rpm, unless otherwise specified. <br />3. Motors 1/2 HP and larger shall be 3 phase, 60 Hz, squirrel cage induction motors <br />unless specifically specified to the contrary in subsequent Sections of this Division. <br />5 <br />
