SAN J OA U I Environmental Health Department <br /> COUNTY <br /> — <br /> Hazardous Materials Program Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> PG&E MORMON SUBSTATION 50 S ALPINE RD, STOCKTON October 13, 2021 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 10 HSC 25508.1(a)-(f) Failed to electronically update the HMBP within 30 days of substantial change in operations. <br /> OBSERVATION: During the inspection, sixty lead acid batteries (approximately 1.1 gallons each), inside battery <br /> cabinets, were found on site. According to Justin Smith, Emergency Coordinator, the battery cabinets and batteries <br /> have been on site since September, 2018. The business has not updated and submitted the information within 30 <br /> days. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Within 30 days of one the following events, business shall electronically update the <br /> information submitted to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS): <br /> -A 100 percent or more increase in the quantity of a previously disclosed material. <br /> -Any handling of a previously undisclosed hazardous materials <br /> -A change of business address, business ownership, or business name. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at <br /> http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, enter the correct or updated information, and submit to the EHD for approval. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by November 12, 2021. <br /> To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br /> of having them sign. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
