The following is an itemized list of aboveground petroleum storage act violations that <br /> have not been addressed for Gemco Ripon Truck Plaza Inc. as of September 29, <br /> 2021. <br /> Open violations from February 10, 2020 inspection <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#604-Plan failed to include oil type and storage capacity for each container. <br /> The type of oil and storage capacity for each mobile or portable container or an estimate of the potential number of <br /> mobile or portable containers and the types of oil and anticipated storage capacities was not provided in the SPCC <br /> plan. 55 gallon drums were observed at the facility and the SPCC plan did not address the estimated or potential <br /> number of drums. <br /> -The type of oil in each fixed container and its storage capacity. For mobile or portable containers, either provide the <br /> type of oil and storage capacity for each container or provide an estimate of the potential number of mobile or <br /> portable containers,the types of oil, and anticipated storage capacities; <br /> The SPCC plan must discuss the type of oil and the number or estimated number of 55 gallon drums and other <br /> mobile or portable containers.A Professional Engineer certification is required for technical amendments. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#610-Plan failed to adequately contain procedures for reporting a discharge. <br /> The correct phone numbers for State and local agencies who must be contacted in case of a discharge were not <br /> provided in the SPCC plan. The phone number for the California Office of Emergency Services(CalOES)for spill <br /> reporting is incorrect.The phone number provided in the SPCC plan is for the CalOES media relations office(916) <br /> 845-8510. The correct number for the California State Warning Center is(800)852-7550 or(916)845-8711.The <br /> correct number for the San Joaquin County CUPA is not provided in the SPCC plan. Under the CUPA section the <br /> number provided is(209)468-4400 which is the number for the San Joaquin County Sheriff's office.The correct <br /> phone number for the San Joaquin County CUPA is(209)468-3420 <br /> Contact list and phone numbers for the facility response coordinator, National Response Center, cleanup <br /> contractors with whom you have an agreement for response, and all appropriate Federal, State, and local agencies <br /> who must be contacted in case of a discharge <br /> The SPCC plan needs to have the correct phone numbers for the facility response coordinator, cleanup contractors <br /> and government agencies that need to be contacted in the event of a release.
