The following is an itemized list of aboveground petroleum storage act violations that <br /> have not been addressed for Gemco Ripon Truck Plaza Inc. as of September 29, <br /> 2021. <br /> Open violations from February 10, 2020 inspection <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#620-Failed to train personnel on all discharge prevention details listed in this section. <br /> Per facility manager new oil-handling personnel are not being trained on the contents of the SPCC plan. <br /> Personnel,training, and discharge prevention procedures. (1)At a minimum,train your oil-handling personnel in the <br /> operation and maintenance of equipment to prevent discharges; discharge procedure protocols; applicable pollution <br /> control laws, rules, and regulations; general facility operations; and,the contents of the facility SPCC Plan. <br /> Oil handling personnel must be trained personnel in the operation and maintenance of equipment to prevent <br /> discharges; discharge procedure protocols; applicable pollution control laws, rules, and regulations;general facility <br /> operations; and,the contents of the facility SPCC Plan. Provide statements or training logs that show the training <br /> has been conducted with any oil-handling personnel that would require it. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#623-Failure to conduct complete annual discharge prevention briefings for oil-handling <br /> personnel. <br /> Discharge prevention briefings are not being conducted at least once a year for oil-handling personnel, per facility <br /> manger.A training log for"spill cleanups"dated 4/15/2018 was presented. The described topics do not meet the <br /> requirements of the briefings and the last briefing was in 2018. <br /> Schedule and conduct discharge prevention briefings for your oil-handling personnel at least once a year to assure <br /> adequate understanding of the SPCC Plan for that facility. Such briefings must highlight and describe known <br /> discharges as described in§112.1(b)or failures, malfunctioning components, and any recently developed <br /> precautionary measures. <br /> Conduct discharge prevention briefings for your oil-handling personnel at least once a year to assure adequate <br /> understanding of the SPCC Plan for that facility.
