Auto body shop being ran out of garage. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />NOTES <br />Met with the property owner Maureen Krieg. Per Maureen, an auto body shop is not being ran out of the garage. Maureen <br />states that her son works on their personal vehicles only. Spills and staining from hazardous materials were not observed at <br />the time of the inspection. Used oil was observed in a 5 gallon bucket and an approximately 3 gallon bucket. Please dispose <br />of all generated used oil as appropriate (a household hazardous waste brochure was provided to Maureen at the time of the <br />inspection). <br />Please be advised that the disposal of any waste [HSC 5411] or disposal of any hazardous waste, or the causing thereof, is <br />prohibited when the disposal is at a facility that is not permitted or authorized for hazardous waste disposal. [HSC 25189.5 <br />(a).]. Please be aware that all hazardous waste shall be disposed of under appropriate hazardous waste manifesting <br />procedure [HSC 25160 (b)(3)]. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
