Hi Claudia,
We provide a "Certificate of Recycling" to residents who come to us with abatement notices. I think it's the
word "receipt" that causes confusion because sometimes businesses try to bring their waste through the
residential program and then want a receipt. Just a reminder, small businesses need to go through our CESQG
program. I have attached a current brochure for the program to make sure that you have the most current
information. If your office needs more copies please let me know and I can have some sent over to you.
Thanks!
011ie Janvrin
SJC HHW Operations
Cell: 209-620-7602
ojanvrinAsjgov.org
SAN JOAQUIN
I I/
From: Muro, Claudia [EHD] <cmuro@s[gov.org>
Sent: Monday, April 12, 2021 10:48 AM
To: Janvrin, 011ie [PW] <oianvrin@sigov.org>
Subject: Disposal receipts
Hi 011ie,
We issued a Notice to Abate for disposal of seven 5-gal containers of oily liquid (possibly used oil) that
was abandoned on a levee at Reclamation District 2042. I gave the property owner representative your
facility information and advised they can only transport 15 gallons per trip. I was told HHW does not
issue disposal receipts. Is it possible a handwritten note with date and waste + amount can be
provided for their disposal?
Thank you,
Claudia Muro, KEI-15
Registered Environmental Health Specialist
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
1868 E.
