THOMAS J & SANDRA STOKES 8424 W OAK ST THORNTON CA 95686 CERTIFIED MAIL #7019 1640 0001 5361 8318 09/21/2021 Have not received any feedback from the owners. The NTA was delivered. Will AHMED send out second notice to abate with in a week. 09/22/2021 Called Sharon at 209-794-2515 and spoke with her regarding the abandoned well AHMED and what her goal is for this well. She stated she contracted Keith Gross pump company earlier this year and they pulled the permit to put the well back in service. I told her I will investigate this and get back to her. Searched our system and found a pump replacement permit was obtained and EHD inspector went out on March 1, 2021 to inspect under WP0041742. According to the picture from the inspection the well has electrical wire sticking out. It is evident that that the wire and not connected hence the well has no electricity. Discussed this matter with Mr. Shih. They can use the well put the electical wire would need to be connected. If they dont want to connect the electrical wire other option will be to put it our of service. Called Sharon back and discussed this with her. She stated the electrical wire may already be connected as she does not live there. Will drive out to the site to investigate the matter. 09/22/2021 Arrived at the site and noted the well is secured. The electrical wires are secured. AHMED Complaint can be abated.
