SAN J 0 A Q I I I Irl Environmental Health Department <br /> CCUN r <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> INTERNATIONAL CAR CARE 652 E LOCKEFORD ST, LODI October 13, 2021 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d)Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days(90 days acute/extremely). <br /> OBSERVATION: The following hazardous waste containers were found on-site with an accumulation start date of <br /> greater than 180 days or no accumulation start date: <br /> -one white plastic 5 gallon bucket of paper oil filters with an accumulation start date of 7/11/2019 <br /> -one blue metal approximately 25 gallon drum of paper oil filters with an accumulation start date of 07/11/2019 <br /> -one white plastic 55 gallon drum of used anti-freeze with an accumulation start date of 09/15/2020 <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66262.34. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately dispose of the hazardous waste stored on site greater than 180 days in <br /> compliance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations. Provide a corrective action statement and a copy of the <br /> disposal records to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site without a label. <br /> -one white plastic 5 gallon bucket of used paper oil filters <br /> -one blue metal approximately 25 gallon drum of used paper oil filters <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: This violation was corrected on site. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil filters or fuel filters. <br /> OBSERVATION: One black metal 55 gallon drum of used metal oil filters was observed to be out of compliance with <br /> the storage rules. The label did not have an accumulation start date. Per Keith Young, based on his disposal <br /> records,the accumulation start date is 07/11/2020. Keith added the accumulation start date on the label. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: <br /> Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66266.130 Management of Used Oil Filters. <br /> California Health&Safety Code section 25250.22 Fuel Filters <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Dispose of all used filters stored on-site greater than one year. Used filters not stored, <br /> handled and disposed of according to this section are regulated as hazardous waste.
