All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #21 Hot and Cold Potable Water Not Available <br />OBSERVATIONS: The hot water heater was turned off at the start of the inspection. The water heater was turned on and <br />the water at the mop sink warmed from 74F to 86F. Ensure the hot water reaches 120F (minimum). <br />Maintain the hot water heater turned on at all times. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An adequate, protected, pressurized, potable supply of hot water and cold water shall be provided at all times. <br />(113953(c), 114099.2(b) 114101(a), 114189, 114192, 114192.1, 114195) <br /> #29 Toxic Substances Properly Identified/Stored/Used <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed a can of Raid insect spray at the mop sink. Discontinue the use of household insecticides. <br />Remove from facility or discard product today. Use commercial grade/food safe products. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All poisonous substances, detergents, bleaches, and cleaning compounds shall be stored separate from food, <br />utensils, packing material and food-contact surfaces. (114254, 114254.1, 114254.2) <br /> #32 Food Properly Labeled and Honestly Presented <br />OBSERVATIONS: Several foods lack proper labeling. Provide labels for all re-packaged bulk food. The labels must <br />include: the common name of the food, a list of ingredients (if more than one ingredient), the quantity/weight of the food, and <br />the name and address of the manufacturer, packer or producer. Correct by 2 weeks. <br />Repeat violation. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Any food is misbranded if its labeling is false or misleading, if it is offered for sale under the name of another <br />food, or if it is an imitation of another food for which a definition and standard of identity has been established by regulation. Food facilities <br />with 19 or more chains in the state shall disclose nutritional information.
