County Agricultural Commissioners <br />June 21, 2018 <br />Page 3 <br />Other Requirements: <br />• A maximum of 100,000 acres of rice may be treated in Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Merced, <br />Sacramento, San Joaquin, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba Counties. <br />• Do not apply more than 20 fluid ounces of INTREPID 2F (0.321b ai) per acre per year. <br />• Do not apply under conditions that would allow INTREPID 2F herbicide to come into <br />contact with adjacent crops other than rice by drift as injury may occur. <br />• Do not apply INTREPID 2F by air when wind velocity exceeds 10 mph. <br />• Do not make more than two applications of INTREPID 2F per growing season. <br />• Hold treated water for at least 7 days after treatment. <br />• Applications made in accordance with the above provisions are not expected to result in <br />residues of methoxyfenozide in or on rice, grain in excess of 0.50 parts per million (ppm) <br />and rice, bran in excess of 4.0 parts per million (ppm). The Agency has determined that <br />these levels are adequate to protect public health. Time-limited tolerances in connection with <br />a crisis exemption have been established in 40CFR at 180.544(b), which also supports this <br />emergency use. <br />• Use of this product may pose a hazard to endangered or threatened species. Before applying <br />this product, applicators must obtain information regarding the proximity of endangered <br />species habitats and follow any applicable use limitations. For details, contact your County <br />Agricultural Commissioner or refer to the Department of Pesticide Regulation's <br />PRESCRIBE Interpret Database: http://www.cdpr.ca.gov/docs/endspec/prescint.htm <br />PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Mixers/loaders and applicators must wear: <br />• Long-sleeved shirt and long pants <br />• Chemical -resistant gloves made out of and waterproof material <br />• Shoes plus socks <br />Follow manufacturer's instructions for cleaning and maintaining PPE. If no such instructions for <br />washables, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry. <br />AGRICULTURAL USE REQUIREMENTS: Use this product only in accordance with its labeling <br />and with the Worker Protection Standard, 40 CFR Part 170, This Standard contains requirements <br />for protection of agricultural workers on farms, forests, nurseries, and greenhouses and handlers of <br />agricultural pesticides. It contains requirements for training, decontamination, notification, and <br />emergency assistance. It also contains specific instructions and exceptions pertaining to the <br />statements on this label about personal protective equipment (PPE) and restricted -entry intervals. <br />
