USE NEAR SCHOOLS No applications of Restricted Materials shall be made by air or ground within 1320 feet of a school in session or when a school sponsored event is in progress. If the pesticide label or regulation requires a larger buffer area, the larger buffer shall apply. There will be no waiver of the required 24 hour Notice of Intent. D Chlorpyrifos D Chlorpyrifos To help minimize bystander exposure and offsite movement of chlorpyrifos during applications and reduce runoff after applications. Exception: Handlers, and vehicles and persons riding bicycles passing through the setback area on public or private roadways are permitted. 2.All applications must take place with a minimum wind speed of 3 mph and not more than 10 mph as measured at a height of four feet above the ground. 3.For airblast applications: -Spray the outside crop row from outside in, directing the spray into the treatment area and shutting off nozzles on the side of the sprayer away from the treatment area. Shut off top nozzles when treating smaller trees, vines, or bushes to minimize spray movement above the canopy. 4.APPLICATION CONDITIONS TO PROTECT SURFACE WATER Incorporate or clean-up granules that are spilled during loading or are visible on the soil surface in turn areas.
