EHD will require an oversized
1,600 -gallon septic tank for installation of a standard Onsite Wastewater Treatment System.
2. Percolation test conducted on September 3, 2021 yielded a percolation rate of 2.87 minutes/inch. At
this rate, a 20 -foot soil separation shall be required between bottom of dispersal field and groundwater
pursuant to San Joaquin County Onsite Wastewater Treatment Standard table 1.10.2. Per the San
Joaquin County Water Resource Lines of Equal Depth to Ground Water Map of Fall 2017 and Spring
2018, groundwater on site is reported between 69 and 70 feet below surface grade.
3. The existing domestic water well shall be tested for nitrates and DBCP. Samples are to be taken by
a third party and analyzed by a State -approved laboratory prior to issuance of building permit (San
Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.7).
4. The OWTS and its 100% replacement areas shall meet all required minimum setbacks stated in San
Joaquin County (OWTS) Standard and Well Standard.
If you have any questions please contact Francisco Garcia Ruiz, Environmental Health Specialist Trainee, at
fgarciaruiz@sjgov.org or (209) 616-3032.
r
ev ih, S
Program Coordinator
c: Live Oak GeoEnviron mental
1868 E.
