(114197) <br /> #30 Food Storage/Display Properly Labeled <br />OBSERVATIONS: Eggs boxes are stored on the walk in cooler floor, in cooked food and deli department. Store food 6 <br />inches off the floor today. <br />Rice container by walk in cooler at bakery department, is uncover. Cover container with tight lid today. Corrected on site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Food shall be stored in approved containers and labeled as to contents. Food shall be stored at least 6" <br />above the floor on approved shelving. Provide <br />labels in 1 week. <br />Labels must have business name, address, ingredient, sub ingredients, allergen if any and weight in Oz or grams. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Any food is misbranded if its labeling is false or misleading, if it is offered for sale under the name of another <br />food, or if it is an imitation of another food for which a definition and standard of identity has been established by regulation. Food facilities <br />with 19 or more chains in the state shall disclose nutritional information. Clean surfaces today. <br />Hood filter plates have heavy grease accumulation. Clean filter plates today and as needed. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All nonfood contact surfaces of utensils and equipment shall be clean. (114115 (c)) <br /> #34 Warewashing Facilites Maintained <br />OBSERVATIONS: I observe a new prep sink without one drain board in the process to be installed in the meat department <br />as the existing one was leaking. Provide proper prep sink that comply with codes ( with one drain board) in1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Food facilities that prepare food shall be equipped with warewashing facilities. Testing equipment and <br />materials shall be provided to measure the applicable sanitization method.
