The overfill protection in CERS is reported as"Audible/Visual Alarms"for the 87, 91, and diesel tanks. Per <br /> service technician Darnell Smith and the 11/27/2019 overfill prevention inspection results,fill tube shut-off valves <br /> are installed for all tanks. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:Any change of information must be updated in CERS within 30 days of the changes. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately log into CERS, update the required information, and submit for review by the <br /> EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 307 HSC 25290.1(c3), 25290.2(c3) Failure to keep water out of the secondary containment system (post-Jul 2003). <br /> OBSERVATION:Water was found in the 87, 91, and diesel turbine pump sumps. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Secondary containment shall be constructed to prevent any water intrusion into the <br /> system by precipitation, infiltration, or surface runoff. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately remove this liquid, make a hazardous waste determination per Title 22 <br /> hazardous waste regulations, and manage accordingly. Immediately contact a properly licensed, trained, and <br /> certified contractor to address the water intrusion into the 87, 91, and diesel turbine pump sumps under permit and <br /> inspection of the EHD, if needed. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 308 CCR 2632(c), 2634(d), 2636(f) Failure of the leak detection equipment to have an audible and visual alarm. <br /> OBSERVATION: The 13/14 under dispenser sump sensor(304) failed to activate an audible and visual alarm when <br /> tested to ensure continuous monitoring of the tank system. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All monitoring equipment shall be maintained to activate an audible and visual alarm or <br /> stop the flow of product at the dispenser when it detects a leak. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The sensor was replaced, retested, and passed during the inspection. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by December 10, 2021 . <br /> FA0003633 PR0231349 SCO01 11/10/2021 <br /> EHD 23-01 Rev.9/16/2020 Page 4 of 5 Underground Storage Tank Program OIR <br /> 1868 E.
