4 A E 1 <br />r',414101 <br />.4.114k. <br />Ilk Consultants <br />Environmental & Engineering Services <br />January 21, 2016 <br />Mr. Nuel Henderson <br />San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br />1868 Hazelton Avenue <br />Stockton, California <br />Subject: Phase II Subsurface Investigation Work Plan <br />25001 Kasson Road <br />Tracy, California <br />AEI Project No. 353448 <br />Dear Mr. Henderson: <br />The following work plan has been prepared by AEI Consultants (AEI) in order to perform a <br />subsurface investigation at the above referenced property (Figures 1 and 2). <br />1.0 Site Description <br />The subject property is located on the southwest side of Kasson Road in a mixed agricultural, <br />commercial, and residential area of Tracy, California (Figure 2). The property is bounded by an <br />irrigation ditch and agricultural land to the north, South Kasson Road and the Deuel Vocational <br />Institution and agricultural land to the northeast, agricultural land and residences to the <br />southeast, and agricultural land to the west. Several buildings are located on the property and <br />are currently utilized by Skydive California, LLC. <br />The property is relatively flat at an elevation of about 30 feet above mean sea level. <br />2.0 Background <br />As detailed in the Phase I Environmental Site Assessment by AEI, dated June 10, 2014, several <br />recognized environmental conditions (RECs) were identified at the subject property: <br />Significantly stained soil was observed by a waste oil storage area (waste aviation oil) <br />south of a retention pond and near a hazardous materials storage shed (new aviation oil <br />and waste aviation oil). Minor staining was also observed in a gravel parking area on <br />the northeast side of the subject property and in the hangar. <br />A fenced gravel area adjacent to a mobile office was observed to be the storage location <br />for new pesticide containers.
