AEI Project No. 353448 <br />January 29, 2016 <br />Page 4 of 5 <br />Boring Destruction <br />Following completion of sample collection and removal of tooling, the borings will be backfilled <br />with neat cement grout as required by the SJCEHD and completed at the surface to match the <br />surrounding conditions. <br />Laboratory Analysis <br />The soil samples will be labeled and placed into a cooler with ice following sampling. All of the <br />samples will be transferred under appropriate chain-of-custody documentation to a state- <br />certified laboratory. <br />Laboratory analysis of soil samples will consist of the following: <br />TPH multi-range by EPA Method 8015M <br />Volatile Organic Compounds by EPA Method 8260 <br />Organochlorine Pesticides by EPA Method 8081A <br />Arsenic, Lead, and Chromium by EPA Method <br />5.0 Estimated Schedule <br />AEI understands that the client is attempting to refinance the subject property, and that the <br />refinance is contingent upon the completion of this project. <br />Completion of this work is contingent upon approval of this work plan, receipt of approved <br />drilling permits, and pending subcontractor availability. Work will be scheduled upon review of <br />this work plan by the SJCEHD. It is expected that drilling will occur shortly thereafter. <br />Laboratory analytical results will be available within approximately one week following the <br />sample collection. <br />6.0 Reporting <br />A final report will be prepared following the receipt of analytical data. The report will detail the <br />investigation methods along with the analytical results. The report will include boring logs. All <br />results, reports, and environmental information will be released to the SJCEHD as soon as it is <br />available, as per the Billing and Compliance Acknowledgement on the Master File Record form.
