aecom.com
Our Reference 60632236
4/6
Following receipt of the laboratory analytical results, the IDW will be transported offsite by Belshire
Environmental Services for disposal. The soil will be transported to the Recology Hay Road Landfill in
Vacaville, California and the water will be transported to Soil Safe in Adelanto, California. Newark will be
listed as the generator on the disposal manifests and bill of lading and the disposal manifest will be signed
by a Site representative.
Removed well vaults and concrete pads will be transported back to the selected drilling subcontractor’s
yard and disposed of as construction debris.
Schedule and Reporting
AECOM will conduct field work within 30 days following RWQCB approval of the final Work Plan (subject
to subcontractor availability). Utility-locating field activities are expected to take 1 full day. Well destruction
activities are expected to occur a minimum of 4 days after utility-locating field activities and are expected
to take 5 full days. IDW removal is expected to occur a minimum of 2 weeks after completion of well
destruction activities and is expected to take 1 day. AECOM will prepare a Draft Well Destruction Report
(Report) for RWQCB within 45 days of completing field activities. The Report will document completed
well destruction activities and, at a minimum, will include the following:
Objectives;
A summary of completed field activities;
Field notes, including a table comparing the estimated and actual volume of grout used;
Tables and figures recording the well destruction volumes and locations;
Relevant documentation including San Joaquin County well destruction permits, completed well
destruction forms, DWR-188 Well Completion Reports (Well Destruction), and disposal manifests or
bills of lading for disposal of IDW; and
Conclusions and recommendations.
AECOM will incorporate any RWQCB review comments and revise the Report prior to the Final Report
submission within 15 days of receiving RWQCB comments.
Limitations
Some background information and other data that AECOM has used in preparing this report were
furnished to AECOM by third parties.
