Potentially Less Than Less Than Analyzed
Significant Significant with Significant No In The
g llrlitigation g
Impact Incorporated Impact Impact Prior EIR
XX. WILDFIRE.
If located in or near state responsibility areas or lands
classified as very high fire hazard severity zones, would the
project.-
a)
roject:a) Substantially impair an adopted emergency response
plan or emergency evacuation plan? ❑ ❑ ❑ 0 ❑
b) Due to slope, prevailing winds, and other factors,
exacerbate wildfire risks, and thereby expose project
occupants to pollutant concentrations from a wildfire or ❑ ❑ ❑ ❑C ❑
the uncontrolled spread of a wildfire?
c) Require the installation or maintenance of associated
infrastructure (such as roads, fuel breaks, emergency
water sources, power lines or other utilities) that may ❑ ❑ ❑ 0 ❑
exacerbate fire risk or that may result in temporary or
ongoing impacts to the environment?
d) Expose people or structures to significant risks, including
downslope or downstream flooding or landslides, as a
result of runoff, post-fire slope instability, or drainage ❑ ❑ ❑ 0 ❑
changes?
Impact Discussion:
a-d) This project is comprised of three components. General Plan Map Amendment No. PA-2100226 proposes to
change the General Plan land use designation from General Agriculture (AIG) to Truck Terminal (l/T). Zone
Reclassification No. PA-2100227 to proposes to change the Zoning Designation from General Agriculture, 40-acre
minimum (AG-40) to Truck Terminal (I-T). Use Permit No. PA-2100228 (UP) to establish the use of a Truck
Terminal. Pursuant to the San Joaquin Fire Severity Zone map, the project site is in an area with non-wildland/non-
urban fire zone designation.
Proposed truck access for the project site is off South Manthey Road, a County maintained road. There is a
proposed driveway off of Frewert Road, however that is for emergency vehicle access only. The project will not
require the installation or maintenance of additional infrastructure to mitigate fire risk or may result in impacts to the
environment. As a result, the proposed project will have a less than significant impact on potential wildfire hazards.
26
