Appendix A <br /> Site Safety Plan <br /> September , 2021 <br /> SITE SAFETY PLAN <br /> Proiect : 7 = Eleven #41342 <br /> Abandoned Tank Removal <br /> 1233 Doctor MILK Jr. Blvd . <br /> Stockton , CA 95205 <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> This Site Safety Plan (SSP ) delineates the basic safety requirements for the dispenser <br /> replacement work to be performed at the property located at the above address . <br /> Work at the site consists of: <br /> • Complete Job Safety Analysis (JSA) prior to commencing work . Focus on safety <br /> concerns with tasks to be completed . All hazards to be brought onto the site or created <br /> during the course of the work will be identified and controlled . <br /> • Establish a controlled work area . Designate a safety zone around work area . <br /> Abandoned Tank Removal <br /> • Provide safety barricading for jobsite to control pedestrians and vehicle traffic , <br /> • Provide temporary site fencing and all required BMP ' s . <br /> • Purge all product piping with compressed nitrogen gas ( if needed ) . <br /> • Uncover the existing tanks and piping and stockpile all excavation spoils onsite for <br /> sampling and disposal . <br /> • Remove , haul and dispose of the one ( 1 ) existing 500 gallon tank <br /> • Provide the registered geologist and obtain all required soil samples , as required . <br /> Prepare and deliver a final report to the agency . <br /> • Load , haul and dispose of all backfill spoils to appropriate landfill , based on sample <br /> results . <br /> Backfill : <br /> • Backfill and compact all tank excavation . <br /> • Furnish and install new engineered fill materials . <br /> • Provide the soil engineer to supervise , test and approve all backfilling activities . <br /> The provisions set forth in this SSP will apply to all employees of Walton <br /> Engineering , Inc . ( Walton) and all other contractors/subcontractors working on this <br /> project .
