Work Plan for Limited Site Investigation - Soil Sampling and AnalysisIrerracon <br /> 7- Eleven #41342 n Stockton , California <br /> September 28 , 2021 m Terracon Proposal No . NA217064 <br /> Prior to commencement of on- site activities , Terracon will hold a meeting to review health and safety <br /> needs for this specific project . At this time , we anticipate performing fieldwork in an Occupational Safety <br /> and Health Administration ( OSHA) Level D work uniform consisting of hard hats , safety glasses , <br /> protective gloves , and steel-toed boots . <br /> 2 . 3 Permitting <br /> In conjunction with this Work Plan , Walton Engineering , Inc . has completed an SJC- EHD Site Mitigation <br /> Well & Boring Permit Application package . <br /> 2 . 4 Sampling and Laboratory Analytical Program <br /> Investigation and sample collection procedures will be conducted in accordance with Terracon ' s best <br /> practices . <br /> One soil sample will be collected beneath the fill end of the UST excavation and will be collected from <br /> the bucket of the excavator. In addition , the samples will be field screened using a photoionization <br /> detector ( PID ) to detect the presence of organic vapors . The soil samples will be collected and <br /> preserved in laboratory-prepared containers . The containers will be labeled and placed on ice in a <br /> cooler . The samples will be accompanied by a completed chain - of- custody manifest and will be <br /> transported to a State of California- certified laboratory for analysis on a five business days turnaround <br /> time (TAT) . <br /> Analytical testing will be performed in accordance with the SJC- EHD Application for Underground <br /> Storage Tank Closure Permit Requirements , Table #2 recommended Minimum Verification Analyses <br /> for Underground Storage Tank Investigations . <br /> 2 . 5 Laboratory Analytical Program <br /> Refer to Table 1 — Sampling and Analytical Program for the planned sampling and analytical <br /> program . <br /> GENERAL3 . 0 COMMENTS <br /> The scope of services are based on the assumptions and limitations noted below . <br /> Limitations <br /> Terracon ' s services will be performed in a manner consistent with generally accepted practices of the <br /> professional undertaken in similar studies in the same geographic area during the same period . <br /> Terracon - makes no warranties , express or implied , regarding its services , findings , conclusions or <br /> recommendations .
