Sargent Road, Lodi
APN 025-140-08 & 09, SR0084392
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed the Soil Suitability/Nitrate
Loading (SSNL) Study, dated October 20, 2021 and has the following comments for your consideration.
The SSNL was prepared to determine the suitability of onsite wastewater treatment system (OWTS) usage
and the potential long-term impact of nitrate to groundwater from the proposed lot line adjustment. The lot line
adjustment between two above stated parcels would result in parcel APN 025-140-08 to become 1-acre lot.
Based on the information provided, the EHD can make the following findings:
1. The Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study supports the suitability for standard OWTS usage for the
proposed lot line adjustment of the above-mentioned parcels, pursuant to San Joaquin County
Ordinance Code Title 9, Section 9-1105.2(d).
2. The nitrate loading is was calculated using wastewater flow of 300 gallons per day. Further addition
of bedrooms to existing dwelling or addition of new dwelling(s) on parcel APN 025-140-08 shall require
a SSNL Study addendum.
If you have any questions please contact Naseem Ahmed, Senior Registered Environmental Health
Specialist, at nahmed@sjgov.org or (209) 616-3018.
Ste*Si , EHS
Program Coordinator
c: LiveOak
1868 E.
