SHALL BE PROVIDED UNLESS STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS ARE PREFORMED ON THE CEILING <br />BRACING SYSTEM FOR THE PRESCRIBED SEISMIC FORCES THAT DEMONSTRATES CEILING <br />SYSTEM PENETRATIONS AND CLOSURE ANGLES PROVIDE SUFFICIENT CLEARANCE TO <br />ACCOMMODATE THE ANTICIPATED LATERAL DISPLACEMENT. <br />6.1 THE SMALLER, BROKEN-UP AREAS SHALL COMPLY WITH ITEMS 5, 4 AND 5 <br />7.SPRINKLER HEADS AND OTHER SIMILAR TYPE OF PENETRATIONS THAT DO NOT BEHAVE <br />INTEGRALLY WITH THIS CEILING SYSTEM IN THE LATERAL DIRECTION, SHALL HAVE A 2 INCH <br />OVER SIZE RING, SLEEVE OR ADAPTOR THRU THE CEILING TILE WHICH SHALL ALLOW FOR THE <br />MOVEMENT OF AT LEAST 1 INCH IN ALL DIRECTIONS. <br />7.1 EXCEPT WHERE RIGID BRACES ARE USED TO LIMIT LATERAL DEFLECTIONS. <br />7.2 AS AN ALTERNATIVE SWING JOINT ACCOMMODATING AN INCH OF CEILING <br />MOVEMENT IN ALL DIRECTIONS MAY BE USED AT THE SPRINKLER HEAD EXTENSION. <br />1.CHANGES IN PLAN ELEVATIONS SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH POSITIVE BRACING. <br />2.CABLE TRAYS AND ELECTRICAL CONDUITS SHALL BE SUPPORTED INDEPENDENTLY OF <br />THE CEILING. <br />3.A STRUT IS TO BE ATTACHED TO THE SUSPENSION SYSTEM AND TO THE STRUCTURE ABOVE <br />AT EACH BRACE. <br />11. ATTACHMENT OF THE BRACING WIRES TO THE MAIN BEAM AND THE STRUCTURE SHOULD <br />SUPPORT THE GREATER 200# OR THE ACTUAL DESIGN LOAD WITH A SAFETY FACTOR OF 2. <br />12. IF PARTITIONS ARE ATTACHED TO THE SUSPENSION SYSTEM, THEY MUST BE LATERALLY <br />BRACED TO THE BUILDING STRUCTURE. <br />13.LIGHT FIXTURES: <br />13.1 PENDENT MOUNTED FIXTURES MUST BE SUPPORTED FROM THE STRUCTURE. THEY MAY <br />NOT USE THE CEILING SUSPENSION SYSTEM FOR SUPPORT. <br />13.2 MUST BE POSITIVELY ATTACHED TO WITHSTAND 100% OF THE FIXTURE WEIGHT. <br />13.3 THERE MUST BE TWO 12-GA. WIRES ATTACHED AT DIAG CORNERS. IF THE FIXTURE IS 58# <br />OR LESS. IF THE FIXTURE IS MORE THAN 58#, FIXTURE MUST BE INDEPENDENTLY SUPPORTED <br />FROM THE BUILDING STRUCTURE. <br />1603.1.5 Earthquake design data.
