FOR REFERENCE ONLY BUSINESS CONFIDENTIAL <br /> Hazardous Waste Minimization ENV-702 <br /> Donation Program General Overview <br /> Requirements <br /> Hubs and California stations shall donate hazardous materials and/or LQ that are <br /> undamaged,slightly damaged,and/or are missing some of the materialdueto spillage and <br /> cannot be returned to shipper or forwarded to the consignee.Items may only be donated to <br /> a nonprofit,charitable organization.See Nonprofit Charitable Organizations section below. <br /> While Alaska and Hawaii may donate ammunitions,cartridges,small arms,etc.,please <br /> contact Environmental Affairsfor direction on any other hazardous materials identified in the <br /> local networks. <br /> Commonly Donated Hazardous Materials and LQ <br /> The following are some common hazardous materials and LQ that may be donated. <br /> Class Material <br /> Class 1: Ammunition,cartridges,small arms,etc.maybe donated to local law <br /> enforcement agencies by stations in Alaska or Hawaii,only.All otherstations <br /> must refer to Overgoods,QAL-320. <br /> Class 2: Aerosols,spray paint,deodorizers,hairspray,shaving cream <br /> Class 3: Paint,perfume <br /> Class 4: Matches,charcoal briquettes <br /> Class 5: Fertilizers, pool supplies,antiseptic cleaners <br /> Class 6: Pesticides, unspent and intact lamps(i.e.,fluorescent light bulbs) <br /> Class 8: Bleach,cleaning solutions <br /> Last Update: 22 January 2021 Page 3 of 8 <br />
