Hi Giuseppe, The Stockton Fire Department has received the subject application and has noted the following comments/conditions: • If site is secured with a perimeter fencing system, driveway gates along Wilson Way and Sanguinetti Lane shall be installed with locking devices that are capable of being removed by the Fire Department. If the gates are electrically controlled, a Fire Department key switch will be required to be installed at each gate. • A minimum 12-inch site/building address is required for the property and shall be installed in a location approved by the Fire Department. • Portable fire extinguishers with the appropriate size and rating shall be installed in the new building. • If welding/cutting is being proposed in the new building, evaluation by the Fire Department is required. No welding, cutting or open flame work shall be conducted when flammable vapors are present. • Business has a current fire permit for "Repair Garage" which includes allowances for Flammable & Combustible Liquids Storage (under exempted amounts allowed by the California Fire Code). • A permit for the new building is required from the County Building Department. Construction drawings shall also be submitted to the Stockton Fire Department -Fire Prevention Division for review and approval. County building permit number to apply.
