According to the SSNL, the estimated nitrate loading from existing and proposed OWTS usage for
the three parcels are the following: Parcel 1) 7.0 mg/L-N, Parcel 2) .15 mg/L-N, Parcel 2) (2
homes) 1.9 mg/L-N, and Parcel 3) was 0.3 mg/L-N as nitrate -nitrogen and the maximum
contaminant level of 10 mg/L-N.
b. The Percolation test conducted on October 28, 2021 yielded a percolation rate of 5.2 min/inch.
At this rate, a minimum 8 feet of soil separation is required between bottom of the dispersal field
and the groundwater. The SSNL reports a historic groundwater level of 50 to 75 feet below
surface grade. (San Joaquin County OWTS Standard Table 1.10.2).
c. The OWTS and its 100% replacement areas shall meet all required minimum setbacks stated in
San Joaquin County (OWTS) Standard and Well Standard.
If you have any questions please contact Aldara Salinas, Environmental Health Specialist, at
asalinas@sjgov.org or (209) 616-3019.
r
S even Shi , RE S
Program Coordinator
c: LiveOak
1868 E.
