AND REPUBLIC SERVICES INC. <br />FORWARD CLASS II LANDFILL <br />SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br />2 <br />The monitoring program of this MRP includes: <br /> <br />Section Monitoring Program <br />A.1 Groundwater Monitoring <br />A.2 Unsaturated Zone Monitoring <br />A.3 Leachate Monitoring, Seep Monitoring, and LCRS Testing <br />A.4 <br />A.5 <br />Surface Water Monitoring <br />Landfill Gas Monitoring <br />A.6 Facility Monitoring <br />A.7 <br />A.8 <br />Compost Facility Monitoring <br />Cannery Waste Land Application Monitoring <br />A.9 Surface Impoundment Monitoring <br />A.10 Corrective Action Monitoring <br /> <br />1. Groundwater Monitoring <br /> <br />The Discharger shall operate and maintain a groundwater monitoring system <br />that complies with the applicable provisions of Title 27, sections 20415 20420, <br />20425 and 20430. The groundwater monitoring network shall be certified by a <br />California-licensed professional civil engineer or geologist as meeting the <br />requirements of Title 27. The current groundwater detection monitoring system <br />meets the applicable requirements of Title 27. The Discharger shall revise the <br />groundwater detection monitoring system (after review and approval by Central <br />Valley Water Board staff) as needed in response to landfill expansion, <br />response to a release, or for corrective action. <br /> <br />The current groundwater monitoring network shall consist of the following wells. <br />Note that the status of each well may change as additional evaluation or <br />corrective action measures are implemented, and additional wells may be <br />added to the monitoring network. <br /> <br />Unit Status Wells <br />Forward Background MW -22, MW -23R, MW -24 <br /> Detection MW -1A, -2A, -3A, -10, 13A, -14A, -15, -16, <br />-17, -18, -19, & -21 <br /> Domestic DW -9690 <br /> <br />Austin Road <br />Shallow Zone <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />AMW-2 <br /> Detection and AMW -5R & -12 <br /> Corrective <br />Action <br />AMW -1, -4, -10, -11, -13, -14, -18, -19, -21S, <br />-22S, -24SR, -29S, -30-S, -31S & -32S <br /> <br />Austin Road <br />Deep Zone <br /> <br /> <br /> Detection AMW -7 & -6
