Potential hazards and safety
procedures are stressed. Currently, there are weekly and monthly meetings in addition to any
"as needed" meetings.
The RRF also implements an emergency response training program as part of their Site Health
and Safety Program (Appendix D). All site employees are trained in (1) emergency alarm and
notification, (2) external emergency response organization notification, and (3) location and
content of the emergency response plan. Employees receive a copy of the emergency
response plan at hire. It should be noted that the Site Health and Safety Program (Appendix D)
is and continues to be evaluated on an annual basis by the operator and amendments will be
provided to the LEA, if significant changes are made.
