Landfill Page 22 <br />86 (K.5) <br />Proposed as Part of the Project: (' <br />Refuse will be compacted and covered as soon as possible after deposition to reduce amounts <br />of blowing litter. <br />Daily inspection will be conducted to control litter on-and off-site, including the'North and <br />South Branches of the South Fork of Little Jobns Creek, approach roads, entrance facilities, <br />the transfer station/resource recovery facility, portable litter control fences, landfill perimeter <br />fence, leachate impoundments, and stann water facilities including ditches, berms, and <br />detention/sedimentation basins, The project sponsor will collect and deposit on-site litter on <br />a daily basis. Portable litter collection fences will be installed as required to prohibit v.ind- <br />blown litter from accumulating along roadways or around buildings. In accordance v.ith San <br />Joaquin County Ordinance No. 28870, adopted September 29,1981, tarps will be placed over <br />open loads to avoid littering during transport of waste (Title 5 Health and Sanitation, Division <br />2.
