Austin Road, Manteca 95336 <br />Inspector ' <br />Also Present (Name) <br />Benjamin Escotto <br />Ruben Ramirez <br />THE ABOVE FACILITY WAS INSPECTED FOR COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE SECTIONS OF THE DIVISION W OF THE PUBLIC RESOURCES CODE (PRC) AND TITLE 14 AND TITLE 27 CALIFORNIA CODE OF REGULATIONS (CCR) <br />X I No Violations or Areas of Concern <br />V I A Regulations <br />Inspection Report Comments: <br />Routine monthly inspection conducted on this date and the following was noted: <br />1. A site visit was made on 4/13/11 to verify that the pile of greenwaste that caught on fire was integrated into <br />the composting process per Title 14 Section 17852 (15). The pile was integrated. <br />2. The piles of ground material are approximately 12-14 feet in height. Accoring to the Solid Waste Facility Permit <br />17 (20)(i), storage piles shall not exceed 15 feet in height. <br />3. According to the daily temperature and turning records, windrows #18, 19, 31, and 32 met the pathogen reduction <br />requirements. However upon review, each of these windrows during the 15 day period did not (at least one day) <br />reach 131 F. In order to meet the pathogen reduction requirements, active compost shall be maintained at a <br />temperature of 131 F or higher for 15 days or longer with a minimum of five turnings. <br />4. The temperature range of the windrows and ground material was 117 F to 135 F and 95 F to 140 F respectively. <br />The temperature of the greenwaste, pre-screened product, and screened product was 100 F, 115 F, and 95 F <br />respectively. <br />
