Austin Road, Manteca <br />95336 <br />Benjamin Escotto (Ruben Ramirez <br />THE ABOVE FACILITY WAS WSPECTED FOR COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE SECTIONS OF THE DIVISION 300E THE PUBLIC RESOURCES CODE(PRC)AND TITLE 14 AND TITLE 27 CALIFORNIA CODE OF REGULATIONS(CCR) <br />X No Violations or Areas of Concern <br />,•V, ; A- Regulations . <br />Inspection Rep or f; Comments: <br />Routine monthly inspection conducted on this date and the following was noted: <br />1. Previous area of concern regarding the generation of dust has been corrected. During the inspection a water <br />truck was spraying the surrounding areas to control the dust. <br />2. Previous area of concern regarding a certain area of ground material bedding having temperatures at a <br />combustible range has been corrected. This area of ground material was moved out to undergo the composting <br />process. <br />3. The fly population throughout the composting operation has decreased since the last inspection. The fly traps <br />implemented by the facility are effective. <br />4. The pile of overs, as documented as being on site in past inspection reports, has been moved to the landfill or <br />used as compost. <br />5. The facility has marked windrows with cannery waste by tying a ribbon on the numbered sign for each windrow <br />with the cannery waste. <br />6. No cannery waste was observed being mixed with the manually screened green waste pile. There was a pile of <br />mixed ground and cannery waste stored adjacently to the manually screened green waste pile. The odor and fly <br />population in this area was light. No fly breeding was observed. <br />7. The temperature range of the greenwaste pile and ground material was 117 F to 137 F and 135 F to 161 F <br />respectively. The temperature range of the pre-screened product and the screened product was 151 F to 154 F <br />and 125 F to 146 F respetively. The temperature range of the windrows and windrows with cannery waste was <br />122 F to 133 F and 131 F to 153 F. <br />8. All records were available for review and were found to be filled out accurately. <br />9. The latest test results for the metal concentration, Fecal Coliform, and Salmonella levels were available for review. <br />The compost product met the state standards. <br />10. There was one area where the manually screened greenwaste pile was mixed with the greenwaste pile that was <br />not manually screened. As stated in the 5/23/11 inspection report, keep these piles separated. <br />
