The feedstock shall undergo load checking to ensure that physical contaminants are removed. <br /> 2. Ensure that all personnel assigned to load checking and screening are properly trained in recognizing <br /> physical contaminants and hazardous materials. <br /> Inspection,Report Comments: <br /> Routine monthly inspection conducted on this date and the following was noted: <br /> 1. Previous area of concern regarding windrows being potentially combustible has been corrected. The temperatures <br /> of the windrows ranged between 143 F and 161 F. The temperature of the screened finished product,the <br /> unscreened finished product, and the feedstock was 124 F, 134 F, and 142 F respectively. <br /> 2. In the previous inspection report, it was noted that windrow signs#12-15 were on the ground and it was <br /> recommended that the signs be checked on a daily basis to ensure that they are still standing. During the <br /> inspection, all the windrow signs were up and they were now placed in the end of each windrow. <br /> 3. In the previous two inspection reports, it was recommended that the records show exactly when each windrow <br /> meets the requirements for completion of pathogen reduction by stating"met pathogen reduction"and also state <br /> when each pile has been moved to be screened. During the inspection,the records showed when the windrows <br /> underwent and completed pathogen reduction and when they were moved to be screened. <br /> 4. It is recommended that the daily tonnage reports show the total tonnage for all material (both compost and <br /> transfer/processing)on site. <br />
