The following are the proposed changes that falls under the site's Joint
Technical Document and Solid Waste permit:
1. Mattress recycling
To improve diversion, FSL will begin recycling mattresses. Disposed
mattresses will be loaded in fully enclosed and covered trailers with locking doors. All
recyclable materials will be hauled to appropriate recyclers once the trailers are full.
The proposed changes will be in effect once approved by EHD.
