Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the
sender and know the content is safe.
Good Afternoon,
My name is Andrew Hernandez. I am the owner of West Coast Exploration Inc. (C57- 87076 1) and we are being contracted to
abandon an existing well at 607 East Magnolia Street in Stockton. During construction the construction company encountered this
abandoned well roughly 10 feet below natural grade. We are wanting to pull a permit, but want to know if a mushroom cap procedure
would be adequate. We called in and there was not any record of a permitted well or the abandonment of the well. The well has been
backfilled with natural soil. I have attached a few photos showing the site and the well. Is it possible to excavate a few feet from the
top of the pipe inside the well casing and then put a concrete mushroom cap on it?
Thank you for your time. Please get back to me when you get a chance.
Andrew Hernandez I Owner
