• -
  I •
May 21 , 1975 l
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY /
PLANNING DEPARTMENT ---
1510 E. Hazelton Ave.
Stockton, CA 95205
re : Draft Environmental Impact Report For
WALNUT ACRES SUBDIVISION (S-75-3/EIR 75-7)
Gentlemen:
The San Joaquin County Local Health District has indicated some
concern with regards to our proposal of the use of septic tanks as
the means of sewage disposal . We have had percolation tests made
on the site and have supplied copies to the Health and Planning
Departments. These tests indicate that septic tanks would be
feasible if we set aside 10,000 square feet of disposal area on
each lot as set forth in the State Water Quality Control Standards .
As further insurance that our proposal will not cause problems
in the future, we propose the following:
1 . We will restrict each lot by deed to the fact that no building
permit will be issued until a plot plan is submitted and
approved showing the 109000 square foot disposal area.
2. We will incorporate into the maintenance district a provision
for the periodic maintenance and pumping of septic tanks .
3. We will reduce the number of lots if necessary inorder that
each lot has ample building room outside the required dis-
posal area.
We trust that mitagating measures will satisfy all concerns.
Yours truly,
Q
C. Chance Wong
