RECEIVE®
JAN 12 '13T8 V E
CIIT'." Terminal
drainage into Mosher Slough would prevent potential flooding
Y problems inherent with individual drainage ponds . As a
minimum, an internal drainage system and community pond should
be required.
With regards to sewage disposal by septic tank and leach field,
we are somewhat concerned about the cumulative effect of the
percolation of partially decomposed effluent into the subsoil.
With a potential population of 4, 752 in the Morada area, a
proximately 3560400 gallons/day (75 gal/capita/day x 4, 752}
of effluent will be percolated into the subsoil . Perhaps,
in considering future development in the Morada area, the
effect of sewage disposal by septic tank and leach field
should be thoroughly investigated to ensure that the water
quality in the area is not affected.
Thank you for the opportunity to review this environmental
impact report.
S.
