The Foothill Sanitary Landfill does not have any recycling facilities.
Recycling/diversion is performed as much as possible by personnel on-site. However, 93 percent of the
waste received at the landfill originates from the Tracy Materials Recovery Facility and the
Lovelace Materials Recovery Facility where waste is sorted and recyclable materials
removed before sending residuals to the Foothill Sanitary Landfill.
Remaining Capacity
Approximately 52,820,000 tons of remaining capacity
RAVIRGINIAWEMO"Mi W AV98.LST
March 2, 1998
