The pipes are open at the bottom and they <br /> are approximately two and one-half feet deep. These probes <br /> are now used by County Staff for monitoring. <br /> The County used a GasTech Landfill Monitor to perform the <br /> monitoring. The instrument was calibrated using standard <br /> GasTech gas calibration canisters prior to monitoring. <br /> The results from the first quarter 1998 monitoring event are <br /> shown on the attached map.
