The average daily tonnage (ADT) for 2005 is <br /> APP 1' 2 ro'ected to be 861 and projected ADT for 2009 is 969. <br /> The facility consists of two modules "I" and 1. Module 1 was constructed in 2003 and <br /> JTD 8 receives most of the incoming waste. <br /> A perimeter network of ten soil gas monitoring wells were installed in July 2003 and <br /> METH 1 June 2004. The wells and on-site structures are monitored quarterly for methane and <br /> VOC 2as levels. <br /> Plans for a landfill gas (LFG) extraction system were prepared in 2004. When air <br /> JTD 35 emissions exceed 50 MMg NMOCs per year,the facility will be required to control <br /> emissions by installing a LFG extractions stemprobably by 2006. <br /> JTD 14 Module 1, constructed in 2003, includes a leachate and recovery system. Leachate <br /> drains by gravilyto a sump and is returned to module 1. <br /> Reviewed 2000-2005 inspection reports. Cover erosion, water ponding, and litter <br /> INSP control were areas of concern on some reports. All issues are fixed by the next <br /> ins ection. <br /> JTD 8 The facility is owned by San Joaquin County and the day-to-day operation is run under <br /> contract by Foothill Landfill Inc. Theoperations contract expires in 2006. <br />
