<br />SUBJECT: Request for Waiver of Permit Conditions and State Minimum Standards for San
<br />Joaquin County Solid Waste Facilities Due to Heat Related Emergency
<br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has received and reviewed your
<br />request for waiver dated July 26, 2006, for the landfill facilities listed below. The EHD was able to make
<br />the findings listed in Title 14 (T14), California Code Regulations (CCR), Section 17210.4 (a) 1-3. The
<br />waiver is approved and shall be in effect for no more than 120 days from the date of this letter. Please be
<br />advised that you must comply with the reporting requirements of T14, CCR, Section 17210.5.
<br />North County Recycling Center and Sanitary Landfill (39 -AA -008)
<br />Permit Conditions That May Be Waived
<br />1. Daily peak tonnage.
<br />2. Hours of operation.
<br />3. Large dead animals.
<br />4. Incoming refuse carrying vehicles.
<br />Foothill Sanitary Landfill (39 -AA -0004)
<br />Permit Conditions That May Be Waived
<br />1. Daily peak tonnage.
<br />2. Permitted traffic volume — incoming disposal and outgoing recovered material.
<br />3. Hours of operation.
