Box 1810 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> INSPECTION REPORT, FOOTHILL SANITARY LANDFILL, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, <br /> FACILITY#56390300001 <br /> Pursuant to the Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) staff inspection of the <br /> Foothill Sanitary Landfill conducted on 31 August 2006, staff has the following comments. <br /> In accordance with Corrective Action Order (CAO) No. R5-2004-0706, condition No. 8 that <br /> states: by 1 December 2006, the Discharger shall have completed construction of all the <br /> Components of the Project and shall have initiated operation of the LFG collection system for <br /> Module I. Based on the site inspection, it is staffs understanding that San Joaquin County <br /> may not have the LFG system operational by the compliance date set forth in the CAO. Staff <br /> urges the Discharger to make every effort to comply with the extended due dates and that <br /> failure to comply with order No. R5-2004-0706 may result in the assessment of an <br /> Administrative Civil Liability. <br /> Please review the Inspection Report.
