"We don't want to <br />unnecessarily alarm people." <br />Miller, however, told planning <br />commissioners that standards for <br />chlorinated public wells have an <br />action level of 100 parts per bil- <br />lion. Private wells, which aren't <br />chloronated, have an action level <br />of .19 ppb.
