The well extends to 60 feet below the ground surface in anticipation of a
landfill module being installed near this well and to that depth in the future. SG-12 is a triple-
completion well, appropriate for monitoring adjacent to the property boundary. The well log will
be included in the next monitoring report.
With this well installed, we wish to propose a revision to our LFG migration monitoring
perimeter. The new perimeter would be comprised of soil gas wells SG-2 through SG-10, and
SG-12 (Figure Attached).
We are also pleased to report that combustible gas was not detected in any of the three probes of
this new well (data attached). This data, together with the lack of detection of combustible gas at
the other wells of the monitoring perimeter(data transmitted May 12, 2003), confirms that we are
in compliance with Title 27 regarding combustible gas migration at this site.
If you have any questions, please call me at extension 8-3066.
Sincerely,
W.
