The facility is regulated under Waste <br /> Discharge Requirements Order No. R5-2003-0020 adopted by the Regional Board on 31 January 2003. <br /> Provision J.12. of the WDRs state, <br /> The Discharger shall complete the tasks contained in these waste discharge requirements in accordance <br /> with the following time schedule: <br /> Task Compliance Date <br /> C. As described in WDRs, Finding#37, <br /> monitoring results indicate that landfill gas (LFG) from the unlined Module"I" at the Foothill Landfill <br /> has impacted groundwater. The volatile organic compounds (VOC)have been confirmed in well MW-3 <br /> and the VOCs that are most prevalent are Tricholoroethene(TCE) and 1,1-Dichloroethene(1,1-DCE). <br /> TCE had eleven quantified detections with a maximum concentration of 4.0 micrograms per liter(µg/1) <br /> and an average concentration of 0.78 µg/l. 1,1-DCE had six quantified detections with a maximum <br /> California Environmental Protection Agency <br /> co Recycled Paper <br /> The energy challenge facing California is real.
