14
15.
DISCUSSION: The FSL currently averages approximately 70 trip
ends per day. The Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill currently
receives an average of 80 trip ends per day. All of the waste
currently going to Corral Hollow will go to the new Tracy
Materials Recovery Facility when the landfill closes. As a
result, -most of the waste will be coming to the FSL via
transfer trucks. The addition of Corral Hollow Waste would
result in approximately 20 trip ends per day in 1995 and 40
trip ends per day in 2010. This would result in an average of
90 trip ends per day it 1995 (approximately 29% increase).
This is considered to be a small increase to Waverly and
Shelton Roads. No significant impacts fromm increased traffic
due to increased waste quantities are anticipated. Recycling
operations will result in very few vehicle trips to pick up
recyclables. Increased recycling will have a non-significant
impact on traffic.
MITIGATION MEASURES: Landfill personnel will direct traffic
during peak traffic times to avoid disruption of traffic
flows. A signage program will be maintained by landfill
personnel in order to direct traffic in and out of the
facility.
PUBLIC SERVICES - 4 11 the proposed project
result in:
An effect upon, or result in a need for new
or altered government services in any of the
following areas:
a.
