EHD has the following comments/questions:
1. The Agricultural Chemical Container Recycling Plan for the County of San
Joaquin (see EHD letter to your department January 23, 1995) has not been
addressed; more information on how FSL will be involved in this program is
necessary.
2. Subtitle D requirements, (Enclosure 3, State Water Resources Control Board
Resolution No. 93-62, III. Containment, A. Standards for Liners, 1--3) are
applicable.
3. In your Project Description it states bulk recyclable materials will be stored on
site up to six months. This time period has not been approved for any Solid
Waste Facility in San Joaquin County.
4. What type of worker safety training for the recycling project will occur?
5. What measures for dust, traffic, and noise control will be taken?
Please direct any questions or further project information to Carol Oz, (209) 468-3440
at letterhead address.
