4. Erosion Control and Seed Protection: <br />a) Apply a total of 3,000 Ib/ac of hydrostraw. <br />b) Mix 100 Ib/ac of tackifier evenly with the hydrostraw. <br />c) Spray hydrostraw mix so any surface irregularities are evenly covered. This will <br />probably require two or more passes, each application from a different direction. <br />Hydrostraw will protect seed from being eaten by animals and reduces the number of <br />steps as compared to straw application followed by tackifier application. <br />5. Test Pad <br />The test pad area has shown moderately successful growth.
