I A-93- �13 <br /> 2 PLEDGE OF REVENUE AGREEMENT FOR FINANCIAL ASSURANCE FOR <br /> 3 POSTCLOSURE MAINTENANCE OF THE HARNEY LANE SANITARY LANDFILL <br /> 4 UTILIZING SOLID WASTE ENTERPRISE FUND REVENUES <br /> 5 THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into MAY 4 1993 by and <br /> 6 between the COUNTY OF SAN JOAQUIN, a political subdivision of the <br /> 7 State of California, hereinafter referred to as "COUNTY11, and the <br /> 8 California Integrated Waste Management Board, hereinafter referred <br /> 9 to as "BOARD" . <br /> 10 W I T N E S E T H <br /> 11 WHEREAS, the COUNTY owns and operated the Harney Lane <br /> 12 Sanitary Landfill, hereinafter referred to as "LANDFILL" , in <br /> 13 conformance with the findings, conditions, prohibitions and <br /> 14 requirements contained in Solid Waste Facilities Permit <br /> 15 No. 39-AA-0003 issued by County Environmental Health Division <br /> 16 serving as Local Enforcement Agency for the BOARD; and <br /> 17 WHEREAS, the COUNTY LANDFILL ceased accepting waste on <br /> 18 November 1, 1991; and <br /> 19 WHEREAS, California' Public Resources Code, Sections 43500 <br /> 20 through 43610 and sections of Title 14, of the California Code of <br /> 21 Regulations ("Regulations") , Division 7, Chapter 5 , Article 3 . 5, <br /> 22 require operators of solid waste landfills to demonstrate the <br /> 23 availability of , financial resources to conduct postclosure <br /> 24 maintenance activities; and <br /> 25 WHEREAS, Sections 18283 and 18290 of the Regulations, specify <br /> 1 <br />
